This Wednesday, November 6, around 5:15 p.m., a 38-year-old woman, residing in Orchies, was hit on the National Road (D938) in Coutiches in front of the Fasquelle bakery by a Peugeot Partner vehicle, belonging to a Coutichois. The Orchies fire brigade and the Lille SMUR quickly went to the scene. They tried to resuscitate the forty-year-old. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries a few minutes later. It was the mayor of Orchies, Ludovic Rohart, who had to announce the terrible news to his family. The victim had 2 daughters.
