Par municipal decreethe municipality of Ploubazanecnear Paimpol (Côtes-d'Armor) has defined the tasks and obligations of residents of sidewalks and gutters.

Owners or tenants must maintain, sweep THE sidewalks and gutters near their homes, particularly for dead leaves and fallen fruit from fruit trees.

Prohibited phytosanitary products

The weeding must be done by uprooting or hoeing. Any use of phytosanitary products is prohibited. They must also clean the gargoyles which allow the flow of rainwater and, where applicable, snow.

In case of black icethey must also put sable or salt on the sidewalk.

Finally, local residents are required to carry out tree pruning or shrubs whose branches may protrude into public property.

In the event of a breach, the municipality of Ploubazlanec will automatically carry out the work. at the expense of the owners or tenants.
