Please note, these sheep's milk yogurts may contain glass

This Wednesday, the Kayola brand warns of the recall of a batch of yogurts sold throughout through the Grand Frais and Fresh stores. The food has been on the market for several weeks and may contain glass.

A potential risk for the health of consumers. Kayola, a dairy brand, recalled a reference to sheep's milk and chestnut yogurt. According to the sheet issued on the government website Rappel Conso, a batch sold throughout France could contain glass.

The products in question come in the form of two 125 gram glasses and are assembled in common packaging. The recalled batch, sold in all Grand Frais and Fresh stores, i.e. 375 points of sale in France, had been in circulation since October 11, 2024. Its marketing ceased this Wednesday, announces Rappel Conso.

Three pieces of data are known to identify the products in question: the batch number 07/11 V3, the GTIN 3701002411678 and the expiration date, which runs until Thursday November 7, 2024.

Risk of injury

If the presence of a foreign body, in this case glass, is not proven, this recall occurs as a precaution.

“Due to the risk of injury and adverse effects following the ingestion of this product, it is recommended that people who have these products not consume them,” we can read on the recall sheet.

The consumption of these yogurts is therefore strongly discouraged. Consumers are invited to return them to the point of sale, or destroy the product. A refund or exchange is offered.

The list of 321 Grand Frais stores can be found by following this link. All 54 Fresh stores are listed here.

The recall procedure will end on Wednesday November 20, 2024.
