French team: Tchouaméni injured

In pain this Tuesday against AC Milan in the Champions League, the Real Madrid midfielder suffered from a sprained left ankle.

Overtaken on Tuesday in the Champions League during the sinking of Real Madrid against AC Milan (1-3), Aurélien Tchouaméni was replaced at half-time by Carlo Ancelotti, after another very dull match in the Champions League. The French international who received a blow suffers, according to a press release from the Spanish club, from “sprained left ankle” and will be unavailable for the next Blues gathering.

Didier Deschamps will reveal this Thursday the list of players selected for the November matches against Israel and Italy.

In addition to these two matches, the Madrid midfielder, named captain of the Blues during the last international window in the absence of his teammate Kylian Mbappé, should be unavailable for at least a month according to the Spanish press.

The former Monegasque could thus miss the next days of La Liga against Osasuna, Leganés, Getafe and Athletic Bilbao, as well as the perilous trip of the European champions to Liverpool in the Champions League on November 27.

Highly criticized in the press after a complicated first period against Milan on Tuesday, where he was at fault for the first two Italian goals, Tchouameni left at half-time, replaced by the Moroccan Brahim Diaz, without apparent embarrassment.

His absence nevertheless remains a hard blow for the Spanish giant, still in search of balance after two consecutive defeats at home against FC Barcelona (4-0) and AC Milan (3-1), just like his selection, where he is a pillar of Didier Deschamps’ system.
