Jurassians, the landscapes present in the first images of the film A bear in the Jura shared on the web this Tuesday, November 5 may have seemed familiar to you. For good reason and as its name suggests, the team of the feature film directed by Franck Dubosc had set up in several locations in the department to shoot their scenes at the start of the year.
The Jura landscapes visible from the first seconds
With these few images, we know a little more about the plot of the film. We notably discover Michel (Franck Dubosc) in a relationship with Cathy (Laure Calamy), a car accident, bodies, the discovery of a bag containing numerous banknotes and an investigation led by the famous actor Benoît Poelvoorde, in the role of a policeman…
All set to slightly distressing music, in a black comedy style. Without forgetting the snowy landscapes, forests and waterfalls of the Jura, visible from the first seconds of this trailer since they served as a setting for filming a few months ago.
Several days of filming in the Jura
Remember: first in January, many aspiring extras took part in the casting days organized in Bois-d'Amont. Then, the filming took place in the premises of the old town hall of the commune converted into a gendarmerie, as well as in Rousses, at the Billaude waterfalls in Vaudioux, but also in Morbier.
In Champagnole, customers were surprised to come across the comedian at the corner of a section of the HyperU, specially decorated in the Christmas spirit for the needs of the filming.
At each stage, the curious were able to attend the technicians' ball and observe the actors giving their responses live. To see the film, you will have to wait until 1is January 2025, release date in cinemas.
