It was during a ticket check that the bus network agent collapsed in Charleville-Mézières (Ardennes). Indeed, our colleagues atArdennes reveal to us that the man died during the night from Sunday to Monday after being rescued by paramedics. The victim, aged around fifty, had been placed on an artificial respirator.
Aurélien Lambinet, director of the Tac network, confirmed the death of the employee. A bouquet of flowers was left this Tuesday at the city hall bus stop to pay tribute to him. The network director also announced that “psychological support” would be offered to all network agents.
The help had restarted his heart
During the illness, paramedics who were nearby took care of the victim. The firefighters and Smur from Manchester Hospital then took over. Since last week, the man was placed on an artificial respirator and in absolute emergency, he finally succumbed.
The entire bus network is in mourning: “Black ribbons have been installed on the vehicles since this morning” also indicates Aurélien Lambinet. It will take time for employees to recover from this shock. The deceased man was very popular in his department.
