A 24-kilometer chase despite three flat tires in Charente-Maritime

With the police on his heels, he bypasses the traffic, brushing past the cars, at the Diconche roundabout and rushes right onto the RN 141. The under-inflated tire dislocates but he continues on the D 150, towards Fontcouverte.

A second tire does not resist the portcullis placed by the police at the next roundabout. The man manages to cross Fontcouverte by taking all the risks. While driving, he calls the owner of the car. At the exit of Bussac-sur-Charente, a third tire was punctured by a police device. The chase continues towards Saint-Vaize, then Port-d'Envaux where a patrol coming as reinforcement finally manages to stop the driver, after twenty-four kilometers covered in twenty minutes.

“I panicked”
