Last Sunday, October 20, the RCC (Rencard Café Club) invited owners of old and/or prestigious vehicles – cars and motorcycles – to an “Automne” gathering, at the market square, on the banks of the Lot. For the first time, a space was reserved only for motorcycles; the Penne Saint-Sylvestre pétanque club having kindly agreed to cede part of the bowling alley for this purpose. It was also an opportunity for the RCC to celebrate its 13th anniversary. It was in 2011 that Bruno Billoux, president of the Rencard Café Club, and a few motorized vehicle enthusiasts like him founded this association. If these meetings, organized once a quarter – traditional spring, summer, autumn, winter meetings – are an opportunity for owners and collectors to discuss and share their common passion, it is also for all other visitors, amateurs and/or curious, to crowd around all these remarkable, magnificent and sometimes astonishing mechanisms.
