She accuses her father of having raped and prostituted her when he had custody of her

It is a sordid trial which opened this Monday before the Gard Criminal Court. A 42-year-old man is accused of sexually abusing his daughter between 2014 and 2020.

The facts allegedly began when she was eight years old, in Gard. The little girl had confided in her mother, detailing scenes of sexual violence and rape when she was under the care of her father, her parents being divorced. Two other children, including the victim's half-sister, were also allegedly victims of sexual assault.

The grandmother would not have said anything

According to the little girl, the father also prostituted her with acquaintances, notably a couple, accused of rape, sexual assault and pimping of a minor. The paternal grandmother, for her part, is being prosecuted for failure to denounce crimes.

The father allegedly admitted the rapes during the investigation but denies having prostituted his daughter. The couple also say they are innocent of the accusations against them. The associations Action Against Pimping and Innocence in Danger are civil parties. The verdict is expected Friday, November 8.
