Time for the big fairs approach in the Gers where November 11 does not only rhyme with the armistice of the Great War. It is also the Saint-Martin. And to Reading like at Isle-Jourdainit's a big event.

The Saint-Martin fair in Lectoure will be held from Saturday November 9 to Monday November 11, 2024. Even if it is officially the 41e edition, this figure does not take into account the rich past. It's even therethe oldest fair in the department which has been held in this city since 1477. And the largest.


90 exhibitors

This year, there will be 90 exhibitors spread over 119 stands and around fifteen uncovered locations for this festival which attracted 30,000 visitors last year according to the town hall.

A nocturne will take place on Saturday November 9 and the inauguration the same day at 3 p.m. under the Bastion bandstand. But the event will also take place over three days at Place Albert-Descamps and Rue Nationale.

Several regional products will be in the spotlight and also numerous professions: crafts, well-being, decoration, advice with experts in energy saving and insulation…

Fun fair, car exhibition, tractor exhibition…

For children, a funfair will be available throughout the fair. On Sunday, a mini educational farm will also be open.

On the exhibition side, there will be a collection of old tractors. In the courtyard of the town hall, a
exhibition of Vespas and other prestigious vehicles will be visible throughout Saint Martin. But there will also be new vehicles, cars, with four car dealerships present in front of the post office.

As for gastronomy, we can taste Gascon and… Alsatian specialties. The City indeed has a very special link with a city in Alsace, Saint-Louis. Also on the menu, demonstration of SPA and clog factory, among others…

Also in L’Isle-Jourdain

While in L'Isle-Jourdain, there will be crowds at Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, Place Gambetta, Esplanade des Pyrénées. And even in the multipurpose room with the Saint-Martin ball. A car exhibition, another on the twinning with Carballo as well as the Muses of Europe exhibition at the Campanaire museum complete this busy program.
