Arthur Cazaux and Quentin Halys in the final table
Seeded No. 1 in qualifying, Arthur Cazaux held his place by defeating Pierre-Hugues Herbert (6-0, 4-6, 6-3) this Sunday. He joins the final table, just like Quentin Halys, express winner of Grégoire Barrère (6-4, 6-2).
A very strong doubles table
Obviously much less publicized than the singles table, the doubles table of the Moselle Open is nonetheless worth its weight in gold, too.
Initially invited by the organizers, the Alsatians Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Albano Olivetti ultimately did not need a wild card and entered directly into the table. Their ticket therefore went into the pocket of another French pair, friends Arthur Cazaux and Harold Mayot, who have been playing doubles together since they were as tall as three apples.
On the favorites side, it should be noted the presence of the Mexican and French tandem Gonzalez/Roger-Vasselin, seeded n°1, and the Polish and Monegasque pair Zielinski/Nys, seeded n°2 which could, in the event of a trophy this Saturday in Metz, find the world Top 10 in the specialty and thus be replacements at the Masters.

Rune retires
Holger Rune will not be in the Arena this year. The young Dane, semi-finalist of the Rolex Paris Masters, withdrew from the Moselle Open this Sunday. World number 13, the Scandinavian gave a lot during the Paris tournament and must take a few days of rest. As a reminder, the Italian Matteo Berrettini, le Russian Karen Khachanov (n°21 mundial) also a semi-finalist at the Masters 1000 in Paris, and the Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (31st in the world) withdrew from the Metz tournament.
It passes for Benjamin Bonzi
He is the first qualifier of the day for the final draw. Opposed to Manuel Guinard, Benjamin Bonzi conducted his business well in this French duel to win in two sets (6-2, 6-3).
The Dutchman Jesper De Jong will also be present in the table: he took over the Frenchman Titouan Droguet (6-2, 4-6, 7-6).
