They are here, the Blues of the Autumn Nations Series 2024. This Saturday, November 2, Fabien Galthié and his staff communicated the entire XV of group who will prepare for the match against Japan. The latter is scheduled for November 9, on the lawn of the Stade de France.

On this new list of 42 players, few surprises are present. However, this offers more information on the hierarchy in force on the Marcoussis side. As for the 3 new recruits, we find Baptiste Serin (46 caps, 30 years old), Julien Marchand (37 caps, 29 years old) and Léon Darricarrère (0 caps, 20 years old).

RUGBY. France, Ireland, New Zealand, etc. What dynamics for the big names before the tests?

For the RC scrum half, he replaces Nolann Le Garrec. Indeed, his rival from Racing 92 suffered a knee injury in training. As a precaution, he will not be available for the match against the Asian selection, but is still applying for the next matches.

At hooker, the return of Julien Marchand is excellent news. Thus, Fabien Galthié will be able to find his exceptional pair, with Peato Mauvaka. Faced with this return, the first line of the Union -Bègles Maxime Lamothe remains in the clubthe Gaëtan Barlot is preferred.

Finally, in the center, Jonathan Danty will not return to Marcoussis this week. Still a holder during the last VI Nations Tournament, the Rochelais was put aside, for a choice which visibly seems purely sporting. Young Léon Darricarrère is offered a chance to shinewith the package of Nicolas Depoortere.

''I don't plan to push afterwards'', Danty confides in his future and the end of his career

Apart from these three changes, the XV of France group remains unchanged. As a reminder, the Blues are heading straight towards a team composed of a Dupont-Ramos hinge. Unless there are any surprises, Matthieu Jalibert and Maxime Lucu should take their place on the bench to replace them.

After this first meeting against Japan, the XV of France will continue with two tougher confrontations, all at the Stade de France. In the second match, the Blues will challenge the All Blacks on November 16. Finally, the Tricolores will return to Argentina to conclude their year 2024, on November 22.
