two deaths, including a young Diekirchois, in two accidents

Two fatal traffic accidents occurred this Saturday, November 2 in . Among the victims, a 19-year-old from Diekirchos.

As reported by Le Républicain Lorrain, this Saturday, November 2, proved particularly disastrous. Two traffic accidents left two dead.

The first accident occurred at 3:40 a.m. on the A4 in the - direction, near Varize-Vidoncourt. A 19-year-old from Diekirchos hit the back of a German tanker truck. While the heavy goods vehicle finished its journey on the emergency lane, the young man's car stopped in the left lane. He then got out of his vehicle, wanted to cross the tracks, but was hit by a 38 ton. He died instantly.

One dead, six injured

Later in the day, around 6 p.m., this time on the A31, a pileup involving five light vehicles took place near the Moulins-lès- exit in the Metz- direction.

A man in his fifties died, as the departmental intervention and rescue service (SDIS) informed our colleagues.

Two other victims, in absolute emergency, and four others in relative emergency were distributed among the two emergency sites of the Regional Hospital Center (CHR) of Metz-.

The circumstances of the accident are not yet known.
