French skater Adam Siao Him Fa will become the specialist in “remontadas” in figure skating. After going from 19th to 3rd place during the Worlds in March 2024, the Habs did it again during the French Grand Prix in Angers. Eighth after the short program, Siao Him Fa won for the third time in a row in the Angevin ice rink.
In his earth-colored suit and to the music of the film “Dune”, he has, by his own admission, not made an absolutely perfect copy.
Selevko and Boyang cracked
But the high level of difficulty of his program and his very lively interpretation, capturing the epic breath of the science fiction novel, won over the judges.
Credited with 171.68 points, he then saw all the skaters ahead of him finish far from him.

With 246.58 points in total, Siao Him Fa beat the Japanese Koshiro Shimada (233.84 pts) and the American Andrew Torgashev (233.64), who were 5th and 4th after the short.
