This Friday, November 1, a judicial investigation into intentional homicide was opened after this macabre discovery, announced the Draguignan public prosecutor's office.
An autopsy has been ordered to confirm the identity of the victim and the date of his death, said a representative of the prosecution, confirming information from Var-Matin. According to the local newspaper,The victim is said to live in the vicinity of the discovery site.
The investigation was entrusted to the Fréjus branch of the research section of the Marseille gendarmerie.
