The Interministerial Commission, chaired by the Ministry of the Interior, gave a favorable opinion to the 43 requests for natural disaster orders. All the municipalities which submitted a file were satisfied.
This commission is responsible for issuing an opinion on the nature of the event which occurred in the municipality. This opinion is then submitted to the ministers who signed the interministerial decree recognizing the state of natural disaster.
Friday morning, Laurent Wauquiez announced from Le Puy-en-Celay that the commission had issued 43 favorable opinions. This step will allow individuals to move forward with their claims for compensation. “The municipalities provided information on the damage in record time, which was invaluable.
Haute-Loire received 100% favorable opinions, as did Loire and Ardèche.
As for communities, for which goods are not necessarily insured, such as roads, bridges and sanitation networks, “the National Solidarity Endowment” will come to their aid.
