We cannot say thatA fanfare manifests itself in the region without fanfare, with a tour of previews lasting four days and fifteen cities in the Nord and Pas-de-Calais, from Friday November 8 to Monday November 11. At the same time, this feature film by Emmanuel Courcol is sure to make hearts beat massively, rhythmically.
History first. Thibaut, a world-renowned conductor, learns that he suffers from leukemia requiring a bone marrow transplant. Looking for a donor, he discovered himself as an adopted child, even having a brother, a trombonist in a band in the north of France. Everything separates the two men, socially polar opposites, except the love of music. We've said it before but we'll say it again: this moving comedy-drama is fantastic. And it was filmed in Hauts-de-France, mainly in Douaisis, but also in the Lille metropolis and on the coast, with the active participation of the Lallaing miners' harmony.
In May, several of its members accompanied the film, with music, to the Cannes Film Festival where it had its world premiere. Incredible moment, during the end credits, to the tune ofTake mein front of a conquered room, in the belly of the Cannes palace.
The release is approaching (Wednesday November 27). And the team is determined to make a mark in the North. We announce the director Emmanuel Courcol, the actors Benjamin Lavernhe, Pierre Lottin and Sarah Suco. On the menu, a presentation before the session or a debate afterwards, and even a fanfare, generally that of Lallaing, who participated in the filming.
