The rivalry between young people from the Orly Parc district in Lagny-sur-Marne and those from Allée du Parc in Thorigny-sur-Marne has just experienced a new episode of violence. Thursday afternoon, teenagers from Thorigny were stabbed in the station tunnel, attacked by a gang of around ten individuals. Three suspects were arrested, one of whom was carrying a knife.
According to the first elements of the investigation, entrusted to the national police station of Lagny-sur-Marne, the brawl occurred around 5:30 p.m. In addition to the national police, those of the municipal police also went to the scene. On site, they came across two young people injured by stab wounds. If the state of health of the first, hit in the buttock, did not cause much concern, that of the second, a 19-year-old boy suffering from two stab wounds to the abdomen, was much more worrying.
While waiting for help to arrive, a municipal police officer had to give him a compression stitch before he was evacuated to hospital with a life-threatening condition. This Friday, the news was rather reassuring according to our information. Very quickly, a third victim was identified, in this case a 15-year-old teenager found at his home, slightly injured in the thigh. Like the other two, he was taken to hospital. A fourth young person then presented himself at the police station in the evening. He would have been the target of punches and kicks.
The police quickly carried out arrests. A young man from Lagny was arrested by the municipal police while two others were “picked up” by members of the anti-crime brigade. They were taken into custody. They were still in progress this Friday evening. Reinforcements have been planned to avoid yet another return match between these rival districts in the coming hours.
