The FDSEA and the Young Farmers of Bas-Rhin are calling on farmers to mobilize this Monday, October 21. They will take the departure from Vendenheim and Schiltigheim around 8:30 a.m. The convoys will then meet on the Route du Général de Gaulle in Schiltigheim. The event is scheduled to end at 1:30 p.m. Traffic difficulties are expected. It is therefore advisable to avoid the area.

For the FDSEA and the Young Farmers of Bas-Rhin: “CAP payments were eagerly awaited on farms for October 15, 2024. Unfortunately almost 20% of farms will not receive the money, i.e. more than 500 farmers, 500 families who will have to wait, the fault of the incapacity, the incompetence of the State. All excuses are good: satellite images disrupted by clouds, checks from Brussels, recruitment difficulties. This is not our problem, if the State is not capable of carrying out controls, it should do less! (…) Furthermore, this Monday October 21 will also be the day of CEA vote on the R-Pass taxwhich will penalize the local economy more than transit and we will remind the councilors of Alsace that they will each be responsible for their vote.”
