three Indians competing in

The Indre rally is scheduled in three weeks. But this weekend, the final of the French Rally Cup, for its fortieth edition, is taking place in the region.

Five members of the Berrichonne stable could have participated: there will only be three. Jean Blayon, record holder for participations and yet qualified, will not be at the start, nor Marc Duponchel whose BMW, at least its engine, gave up the ghost at the Cœur de rally.

Objective: see the finish

In fact, there will only be three crews to line up in this 2024 French Cup. Castelroussin Christophe Lucas, co-driven by Yohann Marilleau in a Renault Clio RS from group N and his son, Calvin Lucas, assisted by Lucas Blayon, them also in a Clio, but RS Line from the R5 group.

Finally the duo Julie Plat – Quentin Trochu will discover their first final with a Peugeot 106 XSI.

In all cases, the objectives are measured with, above all, the desire to see the finish. The idea is more to share a great sporting adventure, with family or friends who have made the trip to the Allianz Riviera in Nice. Hoping that they will be a little spared from the rain forecast above the Côte d’Azur.
