He is known worldwide for his action films. The iconic actor Jackie Chan received a prestigious distinction during a trip to the Château de Chantillyin the Oise.

Present in the Cité du Cheval on Friday October 11, the Chinese stuntman and producer was invited as part of the 60 years of diplomatic relations and friendships between France and China.

A “lover of the Château de Chantilly”

At a ceremony he received the title of great honorary ambassador of the Chantilly-Senlis destination, a “strong symbol of tourist and cultural exchanges between our two countries”, rejoices the tourist office.

Jackie Chan, presented as “lover of the Château de Chantilly” was thanked “for his exceptional contribution to the influence of our destination” after the release of his film Chinese Zodiac in 2012, partly filmed at the castle.

A film which was a hit in China and Asia, and which subsequently seriously boosted the number of Chinese visitors to the Château de Chantilly.
