6 companies rewarded by the CCI

This Tuesday, October 15, the CCI du honored 6 small businesses in the region during its annual Small Business Prize competition.

It was at the Le Drop brewery that the CCI du Gard rewarded four small businesses this Tuesday evening as part of the Small Business Prize and two of the jury’s favorite companies.

The VSE prize is more than a simple reward, it is a real recognition of the entrepreneurs who, every day, contribute to the vitality of our Gard economy. These women and men embody the audacity, perseverance and dynamism that move our territory forward. By highlighting their successes, we encourage an entire ecosystem to develop with ambition.” comments Eric Giraudier, President CCI Gard.

For this 22nd edition, 34 Gard VSEs had applied and were audited by members of the CCI, leaders from the association of Women Business Leaders and the Community of Communes of the Pays de Sommières.

The four winning companies will represent Gard during a final in on December 4 where they will face VSEs from Hérault and Haute-Garonne.

For more than 20 years, the VSE prize has recognized entrepreneurs whose initiatives shape the economic future of our region. This competition is a strong moment, which highlights the importance of their know-how and their commitment. These business leaders demonstrate, year after year, that they are capable of meeting challenges with creativity, innovation and resilience..” underlines Gilles Laumesfelt, elected CCI Gard, leader of the entrepreneurship commission.

The winning companies which will represent Gard during the final are:

– COEO, a company created in 2020 and owned by Amandine Berthézene in Vigan for the “Being” prize which rewards the career of the business leader, his interpersonal skills and his success. The COEO company produces braziers and won an international design award for the design of its brazier.

– Cidrerie Pépine – Aglaé Morel in Vergèze for the “Faire” prize which rewards the company which acts, creates and faces crises. This is the first Gard cider house. Cider made with apples from Gard production and which can be found on the best tables in the region.

– Delafont Barrels – Samuel Delafont in Vézénobres for the “Pilot” prize which rewards the business manager who puts in place the tools to manage his business, plan, develop and anticipate the future. The company produces stainless steel barrels for sulfite-free wine fermentation.

– Next Neurotech – Yoann Valorge in Nîmes for the “Rayonner” prize which rewards the company for its local or international know-how. Next Neurotech makes it possible to identify the areas at the origin of epileptic seizures using 3D mapping of brain activity. This diagnosis is carried out using innovative minimally invasive Next Neurotech probes. They also allow localized treatment with a protocol driven by artificial intelligence for definitive cure of the patient.

The jury also awarded two favorite prizes to:

– Marie Ponsoye in Saint-Privat-des-Vieux for her company Younau which makes artisanal aperitif spreads. The company prioritizes production surpluses from producers. She is committed to inclusiveness and makes her spreads in partnership with the workshops of an ESAT.

– Franck Losma in Sommières for his company Concept Service Méditerranée Coordination provides for a health protection safety coordinator in construction to manage coactivity as soon as there are two companies on the same site.
