For eight years, Alison Davies has lived on rue de Bellevue in Brossac. After 27 years of experience as a painter and high school art teacher in Oxford, she left teaching to devote herself entirely to painting. “Changes of light and expressions of mood are my inspiration,” admits the one who likes oils and acrylic inks to translate landscapes, skies and seascapes.
