Stupor this Wednesday at Perray-en-Yvelines. Gunshots rang out mid-morning in the small town located at the gates of the Rambouillet forest, initially causing the deployment of Raid police officers, who were ultimately quickly demobilized. There were one person lightly injured and one person seriously injured.
The two injured are actually two neighbors. For reasons that remain to be determined, one of them, the older one, allegedly fired a rifle at the other before turning the weapon against himself.
According to our information, there is no known dispute between the protagonists. On the contrary, the residents even seemed to have good neighborly relations, hence the “total incomprehension” of the person targeted, reports a source. The victim was only slightly injured and was treated on site by rescue teams.
The perpetrator of the shots, an elderly person visibly suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, was quickly found unconscious on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The man received first aid on site before being transported in absolute emergency to a Parisian hospital in a firefighter ambulance. His wife, shocked, was also hospitalized.
