As part of their PE lessons, students from the Charles-Tellier high school in Condé-en-Normandie (Calvados) use the Tellier gymnasium, one of the town’s sports facilities.
80% used by the high school
Problem: the Region does not contribute to the costs of using the gymnasium “used 80% by students and the remainder by local associations”, underlines Pascal Daligault, first deputy at the town hall. As a reminder, it is the regional councils which are in charge of high schools.
Use that generates costs
“Its use generates management and energy costs, not to mention participation in the work. » According to the estimates given during the municipal council, the bill would amount at €45,000.
