Brigitte Macron welcomes a queen and subtly matches her outfit to the sovereign

This Monday, October 14, the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, welcomed a royal couple to the Élysée Palace. For the occasion, Brigitte Macron made the effort to match her outfit to that of the queen.

The King and the French Head of State conducted a review of the troops before the traditional laying of wreaths and rekindling of the flame in front of the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Following this solemn moment during which the two couples were able to exchange a few words, they visited the Elysée Palace for a joint interview. A state dinner is also served in their honor in the evening at the Elysée, but before that, King Philippe of Belgium and Queen Mathilde are to meet Prime Minister Michel Barnier over lunch at Matignon. “This trip constitutes a new opportunity to celebrate the fraternal friendship which unites France and Belgium”declared the French presidency in comments reported by AFP.
