Challenged like never before in recent years, Elfic Friborg managed to defend their title of Swiss champion after a decisive fifth match.
It is always easier to talk than to prove it, but on Saturday, still in Saint-Léonard but for the Supercup, the first trophy awarded this season, Loan Morand kept the beginning of his promise by offering the first title to the women’s club of Nyon in 40 years after an entertaining match for the thousand spectators who sat in the stands in Fribourg.
