Roquemaure: presentation of Captain Loïc Pinault, new commander of the COB gendarmerie of Roquemaure- du

Following the transfer of Lieutenant Samuel Blachon, the COB (Brigade Community) of Roquemaure- du saw the arrival at its head of a new brigade commander, in the person of Captain Loïc Pinault. Aged 46, married and father of two children, Captain Pinault knows the specificities of the territory well, which are similar to those of his last assignment at the head of the COB, where he spent 4 years.

A military journey under the sign of intervention and the field:

After completing his military service in 1996 in the 53rd Artillery Regiment of Breisach in Germany, Loïc Pinault will experience a career marked by numerous external operations (Corsica, Guyana, French Polynesia, Kosovo, Guadeloupe, New Caledonia, Côte- of Ivory, Mali, ). Operations carried out as part of his assignments in squadrons 18/1 of Satory and 34/1 of of the Mobile Gendarmerie. A link with the field, which he will also develop with two years at the PSIG (Special Gendarmerie Intervention Platoon) in and 4 years at the PSIG in .

Captain Pinault, newly arrived at the COB of Roquemaure, expressed his satisfaction at joining this unit. “Knowing the territory well, I already feel comfortable in my new missions.” As soon as he arrived, he implemented concrete actions to fight against road incivility and drugs.

Fight against drugs and road safety at the heart of concerns:

Among the main missions and concerns of Captain Pinault, he observed that speeding is frequent. In response to this road delinquency (speeding, telephone driving, etc.), he initiated a recovery in the field by intensifying road checks. Local elected officials, aware of the importance of these measures, were very keen on such an initiative.

Concerning the fight against narcotics, Captain Pinault emphasizes that the problem is not limited to , but also affects Montfaucon. Although the region is not a major deal point, it has small dealers and regular consumers. “We will pursue these individuals relentlessly,” he says.

Meet the elected officials :

Beyond repression, Captain Pinault insists on the importance of prevention. He plans to organize neighborhood meetings in the presence of elected officials and the Municipal Police. This method, already used successfully in Orange, aims to strengthen collaboration between law enforcement and the local population.

Promote new devices:

Captain Pinault will also present modern devices to improve security and communication with citizens. Among these initiatives, we find the online pre-complaint system and the digital brigade. These tools will be presented once a month in the different municipalities of the COB.

With these measures, Captain Pinault hopes not only to strengthen security in the region, but also to establish a climate of trust and cooperation between law enforcement and the population.
