Doudou Ka finally responds to El Malick Ndiaye

Doudou Ka finally breaks the silence on the accusations of El Malick Ndiaye in relation to the purchase of handling equipment for the six (6) international airports of Senegal.

During the Pastef press conference, the Minister of Infrastructure and Land and Air Transport, El Malick Ndiaye, revealed a “fictitious market of 8 billion FCFA for the purchase of handling equipment for airports”, set up by his predecessors.

“When this market was valued at 8 billion FCFA, the minister (Doudou Ka, Editor’s note) at the time decided to buy the equipment with a “defense secret” stamp. Advances of almost 7 billion FCFA were given, but it has been more than two years today since there was any delivery of the equipment which was to be made between 3 and 6 months. It’s a fictitious market. We will do everything to recover this money. The investigation is ongoing »had warned the minister.

Two days after these revelations, the main person concerned in this case, Doudou Ka, provided a denial. The former minister denounces false accusations “orchestrated by the Minister of Infrastructure and Land and Air Transport”.

“I have never signed or approved a contract relating to the purchase of handling equipment for the six (6) international airports of Senegal. This was in no way within my prerogatives as Minister”he reveals.
