Dakar, Thiès, Diourbel, Kolda… new big alert from ANACIM

The next 24 hours will be marked by showers in several regions of Senegal, according to the latest weather forecasts valid from Thursday October 10 at 12 p.m. to Friday October 11 at 12 p.m.

The South-West, Center and Center-West regions of the country are expected to be affected by precipitation this afternoon and evening. More precisely, Ziguinchor, Sédhiou, and Kolda in the South-West, as well as Kaolack, Fatick, and Diourbel in the center, without forgetting Dakar, Thiès, and Louga in the Center-West, are the areas concerned.

During the night from Thursday to Friday, and until the morning, rainy systems coming from Mali could affect the South-Eastern regions, notably Kédougou, Tambacounda and Bakel. These showers could prolong the ambient humidity in this part of the country.

Temperatures will remain relatively mild, oscillating between 33°C and 34°C. However, humid heat will be particularly felt in the northeastern regions, notably in Matam and Podor. The winds will be moderate, blowing from the South to the South-East, and visibility will remain generally good.
