Rabat hosts the final of the Longines Global Champions Tour

The final of the equestrian show jumping competition, Longines Global Champions Tour, which will be organized for the very first time in Rabat, from October 18 to 20, 2024.

The Morocco-Qatar cultural year continues and events between the two countries follow one another, each highlighting a facet of the country’s culture in its own way.

After cities such as Miami Beach, Rome, , Shanghai, Doha, it is in Rabat that the Longines Global Champions Tour – LGCT- will be held as part of the Morocco-Qatar Cultural Year 2024 “Years of Culture”.

Marking a first in Africa, the Longines Global Champions Tour event in Rabat will welcome riders and horses from the world’s elite such as Christian Kukuk, gold medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and current leader, a selection of the best Moroccan riders as well as high-level sporting shows and entertainment.

The event will be enriched by artistic exchanges promoted by the “Years of Culture” initiative in celebration of the common cultural heritage between Morocco and Qatar.

The LGCT 2024 final in Rabat will be held in an equestrian village specially designed for the occasion. The competition will, in fact, take place in an exceptional setting, nestled between the Hassan Tower, the Grand Théâtre de Rabat and the Mohammed VI Tower.

The Longines Global Champions Tour is the largest show jumping series in the world. The circuit promotes excellence in equestrian sports, showcasing the highest levels of competition and sportsmanship.
