17

The Open unveiled this Tuesday its entry list for the 2024 edition of the ATP 250 tournament which will be held in November.

The start of October now marks the countdown to the start of the Moselle Open. The tournament, moved from September to November on the ATP calendar since last year, is preparing to make its comeback. Ignoring the turmoil linked to the sale of the tournament and the increased surveillance of the ATP, the 21st edition will indeed be held in style.

If it will be hard to compete with the emotions of the 2023 edition with the first victory of a Mosellan, Ugo Humbert, on his land, the tournament teams have worked hard to concoct a rich experience for all spectators . If the reigning winner has already made his arrival official, it was time to lift the veil on some of the surprises that will thrill the Arena from November 2 to 9, 2024, starting with the tournament entry list. Located at the end of the season, the event is naturally deprived of the best in the world, already qualified for the Masters, which does not prevent a few tempting names from slipping into the list of participants.

The Moselle Open 2024 entry list

  • Casper Ruud (NORWAY) – 9th in the ATP rankings
  • Holger Rune (DENMARK) – 14th in the ATP rankings
  • Ugo Humbert (FRANCE) – 15th in the ATP rankings
  • Sebastian Korda (USA) – 19e au classement ATP
  • Félix Auger-Aliassime (CANADA) – 22nd in the ATP rankings
  • Jan-Lennard Struff (GERMANY) – 39th in the ATP ranking
  • Alex Michelsen (USA) – 43rd in the ATP rankings
  • Matteo Berretini (ITALY) – 44th in the ATP rankings
  • Lorenzo Sonego (ITALY) – 49th in the ATP classification
  • Cameron Norrie (UNITED KINGDOM) – 52nd in the ATP rankings
  • Adrian Mannarino (FRANCE) – 53rd in the ATP rankings
  • Alexander Shevchenko (KAZAKHSTAN) – 58e au classement ATP
  • Jukub Mensik (CZECH REPUBLIC) – 65th in the ATP rankings

This list should obviously be taken with a pinch of salt. As every year, withdrawals are to be expected before the first bounces of the yellow ball on the main court, but the experience nevertheless allows you to be rich. The other Mosellan Harold Mayot could also be in the game, and he recently indicated in an interview with The Team that Metz should be in his program, perhaps thanks to a wild card.
