To allow children and families to reclaim the public space, “la rue aux enfants de Richelieu” was a very nice event at the corner of Nicot and Flamande streets.
The Education League operates in the priority Richelieu district by offering educational support for schooling and parenting. This Saturday, October 5, it was a first action to encourage residents to take ownership of their neighborhood through various future projects.
Games in the four corners of the site, streets littered with toys and workshops, everything was perfect for welcoming young and old in complete safety and for all audiences. Please note, the children must still be under the supervision of their parents, this type of day is not intended to provide daycare, but also to strengthen the bonds that unite families through a free and joyful outing.
Free games available for children, challenges for the family, a space for little ones, books to escape, board games to have fun, everything you need to create, seeds and soil for a flowery neighborhood, pebbles to paint to decorate the streets, recreational games for all, wooden games, badminton, but also bicycles for the little ones, football cages and foam balls, a basketball hoop and, finally, a “rescue” point for small injuries!
Moments to spend with family and/or friends, endless laughs, but also a few more serious spaces ideally served this afternoon which will call for others!
