The fingertips is sometimes very cold and it is definitely not necessary no longer part with your umbrella too long. Autumn is living its best days in Seine-et-Marne, and with it the rain. And it’s not about to stop! In fact, the weather forecast between the October 7 and 13, 2024 announce lots of humidity… Here is what Météo France is forecasting.

Rain and more rain

The week will begin on Monday, October 7 in the morning, with small clearings, like in Meaux, Melun or Fontainebleau. But they will be far from providing a good signal for the rest of the week.

From the afternoon, the weather will become cloudy, bringing temperatures between 17 and 18°c. The deterioration will continue in the evening with rain which will fall across the entire department.

Tuesday October 8 will not be much better since the clouds will remain threatening, bringing rain in places as will undoubtedly be the case in Tousson, Coulommiers and Chelles. The afternoon could give way to some clearing… interspersed with rain!

And don’t wait until Wednesday October 9 to see a change, because the forecast predicts rain for the whole day, in more or less intense episodes. And it will be spread throughout the department, whether you are in Lorrez-le-Bocage-Préaux, Provins or even La-Ferté-Gaucher.

Towards a milder weekend?

If the rain could be difficult to bear for some, they will also have to endure a further drop in temperatures.

From Thursday October 10, the mercury will drop a few degrees. It will be 12°C in the morning in La-Ferté-Sous-Jouarre just like in Verneuil-l’Étang. It will be 14°c in Tousson and it will be difficult to go above 15°c like in Vimpelles, Nangis or even Nemours.

Friday October 11: repeat! Rain and cold with minimums of 13°C in places. However, the night between Friday and Saturday will bring a lull in the rain and it may not return for the weekend.

According to forecasts, on Saturday October 12, Seine-et-Marne should observe cool temperatures in the morning, not exceeding 9°C. However, the sun’s rays could cause a slight warming, bringing the mercury back to a level at the start of the week, around 15 or 16°c.

We will have to wait for the weather to change next week to ensure that this sunshine continues or not in the Seine-et-Marne region.
