A man was seriously injured with a knife on Friday evening, rue de Belleville, in Paris (20th century). The victim was transported to hospital with his life threatening, Le Parisien learned from concordant sources, confirming information from Actu 17.
It was around 10:15 p.m. when a line 71 bus driver discreetly activated his alarm near 4, rue de Belleville (20th). Near his machine, a man lies, seriously injured. He reportedly received several stab wounds to his left thigh, right ankle and face. “His left cheek is completely open,” specifies a source. The police, quickly on site, secured the perimeter. The victim is taken care of by emergency services and evacuated to the hospital with his life threatening, under police escort.
According to initial information, which remains to be confirmed, the man was attacked during a brawl on the public highway. The bus driver, very shocked, was relieved of his duty. Several bus lines were diverted until midnight. The attacker(s) fled. The bladed weapon was not found. An investigation has been opened. When contacted, the Paris public prosecutor’s office did not respond to our requests.
