It was a sordid trial which took place at behind closed doors all this week, in front of the departmental criminal court from Seine-et-Marne, to Melun. Women “collapsed, destroyed, broken for life”, according to M^e Marion Saint Fort Ichon, who took turns at the bar to recount their ordeal. An ordeal which, in total, took place on about twenty years of repeated actions committed by a policeman Seine-et-Marnais, shooting instructor. At his side, two women prosecuted for complicity: Gaëlle, a former union police officer, and a nurse. Two women “manipulated and under the influence”, according to the defense which had called for acquittal.

The former police officer and former local elected official in front of his victims

The accused, several times medalist, has long benefited from his status aspolice officer and union leader, freemason,former elected official from the village of Moisenay. He also claimed to be a great humanist, concerned about the cause Native American peopleslaunchers of major projects, all more vague than unfinished…

This great mythomaniac, who had also taken on the role of magnetizer to better approach his prey, had to face not only his judges but also the line of victims. Six known to date! The youngest had 11 ans at the time of the events and the oldest is now around fifty.

During the five-day trial, James D., 54, in prison since his arrest three years ago, has had to answer for his practices of manipulation and taking possession.

Regarding its practices, the debates spoke of “control, even bewitchment”, ending each time with enslavement, sexual abuse leading to viol digital. His big fantasy! To which could be added another fantasy: possessing the mother and the daughter.

A certain charisma

It was with this powerful logorrhea, coupled with a certain charisma, that he seduced his victims before abusing them.

Before the magistrates, the fifty-year-old denied completely the facts that he is accused of – speaking of “fabrications” – except on the 11-year-old girl for whom he admitted the rapes. It was therefore completely impossible for the court to specify the exact number of victims of “this man with powerful networks”, certain alleged facts, too old, being covered by la prescription.

One thing is certain: several of them had tried to file a complaint. But the matter was dismissed even before hatching. Except for the little girl, whose cry for help was heard by the administration of her college, the starting point of the entire procedure which led to the arrest of the guru.

Just before his arrest, he had attempted to make a number of compromising files of its computers, in particular pictures.

Verdict

Eighteen years of criminal imprisonment were requested against the main accused. The verdict fell on the evening of Friday October 4, 2024. James D. ultimately received 16 years of criminal imprisonment.

The nurse benefited from the acquittal. As for the former police officer, she was acquitted of complicity in rape, but found guilty of minor corruption: she had in fact sent naked photos from her and her minor daughter to James D, who had organized threesome sex. She getsone year in prison which she will carry out under the supervision of a electronic bracelet. In addition, it is the subject of a withdrawal of parental authority.

On the side of the civil parties, M^e Mathias Ferré, who attended a policewoman raped during magnetism sessions, obtained for her a lump sum compensation of 35 000 €. As for that represented by M^e Saint Fort Ichon, she obtains a provision of several thousand euros.
