It was 3:26 p.m. when the earth shook on October 4 in the Vannes sector in Morbihan. On Facebook, residents immediately shared their first reactions.
“Someone felt a shock ?“, asks a resident.
“Earthquake well felt”continues a third. “It made my house move, like an explosion.”
The magnitude earthquake was confirmed by the BCSF-Rénass.
The “Central Office and French seismological network-National Seismic Monitoring Network” specifies that the magnitude recorded is 2.9. And the depth is 7 km.
The epicenter of the earthquake is located between Vannes and Ploeren, in the “Le Garo” sector.
