The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) of Senegal issued its weather bulletin n°258 on October 4, 2024. These forecasts are valid from noon on October 4 until noon on October 5.
According to ANACIM, intermittent rains will persist in the western half of the country this morning. In the evening, the weather will become stable again over most of the territory, with limited risks of rain in the far south of the country. The heat is expected to be less sustained over most of the country, with the exception of the northeast where maximum temperatures could reach 36°C. Visibilities will generally be good throughout the territory. Winds will blow from the west to southwest, with light to moderate intensity.

In Dakar, cloudy conditions with light rain are expected, with temperatures between 24°C and 27°C. Winds will be light to moderate coming from the west.
In the Thiès region, particularly in Tivaouane and Mbour, similar conditions are expected, with temperatures varying between 22°C and 29°C.
For the Saint-Louis region, in Bango and Dagana, the weather will be cloudy with light rain and temperatures between 24°C and 28°C.
In the Louga region, cloudy conditions with light rain are expected in Louga and Podor, with temperatures reaching up to 37°C.
In Diourbel, the weather will be predominantly cloudy with temperatures between 24°C and 30°C.
In the Kaffrine region, cloudy periods with light rain are expected, with temperatures between 22°C and 31°C.
For the Fatick region, the weather will be mainly cloudy with temperatures between 22°C and 31°C.
In Kaolack, cloudy periods are expected with temperatures between 24°C and 29°C.
In the Tambacounda region, in Koumpentoum, cloudy periods are expected with temperatures between 23°C and 33°C.
For the Matam region, cloudy periods are expected in Goudiry and Bakel, with temperatures reaching up to 37°C.
In the Kédougou region, risks of light rain are forecast, with temperatures between 23°C and 32°C.
In Kolda, similar conditions are expected, with temperatures between 23°C and 32°C.
In the Ziguinchor region, in Bignona and Cap Skirring, risks of light rain are forecast, with temperatures between 22°C and 32°C.
In Sédhiou, risks of light rain are also expected, with temperatures between 22°C and 32°C.
