Investments in business real estate are decreasing in Ile-de-

En Ile-de-, business real estate has seen better days. This is what emerges from the latest data from the Immostat group

published this Friday.

According to this source, at the end of September, the placed demand for offices in the region (volume of rental transactions and sales to users) since the beginning of the year amounted to 1.27 million m², i.e. decrease of 9% compared to the first nine months of 2023. With a take-up of 411,700 m², the third quarter showed a drop of 19% compared to the third quarter of 2023. Ultimately, the immediate supply of offices in the region represented 5.24 million m² as of September 30, 13% more than a year ago.

Also in the third quarter, the overall amount of investments in commercial real estate amounted to 1.1 billion euros, 12% less than in the third quarter of 2023. Since the start of the year, it has stands at 3.1 billion euros, down 46% compared to last year. Another indicator, the average price of offices purchased in Ile-de-France reached 5,790 euros/m² (duties included) in the third quarter, a drop of 15% over one year.
