Benoit, in , a monument!

A famous bistro, taken over by Ducasse in 2005 from the Petit family.

This bistro, run by the same family for three generations, already enjoyed an excellent reputation. At the time, it was good. Today it’s even better. You can collect three stars, like Alain Ducasse, and become passionate about bistros, the real ones.

If there are a large number of small bistros in , Benoit is the best. From afar. The decor, first. Tiled floor, copper coat racks behind the tables, starched white tablecloths, cloth napkins, bistro chairs. Silverware, found in antique shops, is everywhere and gives a warm, family effect. The menu is without surprise: bistro dishes but subtly cooked by the chef, Kelly Jolivet, well prepared, well presented, in short appetizing. With Aux Lyonnais and Benoit, Alain Ducasse has also become the king of the bistros of yesteryear. Perfect quality of products and very careful execution. We’re having fun.

Of course, the menu offers pâté en croute, foie gras, but also
cake…
