Weather: When can we expect temperatures of 20 degrees?

LThe mercury will not rise above 15 degrees on Friday, predicts the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) in its morning bulletin. The sky will still shine a few rays of sunshine during the day, announcing dry weather for the rest of the weekend.

Clouds and clearings will follow one another on Friday, with temperatures between 10 degrees in the heights of the Ardennes and 15 degrees in Flanders. The wind will be light from east to northeast.

The mercury will drop sharply during the night from Friday to Saturday. Under possible formations of mist or fog, you will have to face 0 to 7 degrees. A risk of light ground frosts in the east of the country cannot be ruled out. At the same time, the wind will remain weak, but from the southeast.

On Saturday, after the dissipation of possible gray weather in the morning, the sky will be mostly sunny, with a few cloudy periods during the day. The maxima will rise slightly, from 12 degrees in the upper Ardennes to 16 degrees in the west of the country, still under a weak south-east wind.

The weather will remain generally dry on Sunday, but cloudiness will be more abundant. The thermometer will remain stuck between 12 and 16 degrees during the day. The rain will finally return in the evening, from the southwest.

We will have to wait until Monday to see temperatures rise to 20 degrees locally, the IRM announces.
