Ambitions and expansion in Morocco

The Aciturri group, one of the world leaders in the manufacturing of components for the aeronautics industry, displays its growth ambitions with a new key stage in its development. In a recent statement, Gines Clemente Ortiz, Executive President of the Aciturri group, highlighted the strategic importance of expansion in Morocco, thus strengthening the role of this country as an essential base for the aeronautical industry and, potentially , for other sectors such as defense.

Gines Clemente Ortiz began his statement by emphasizing the ambition of the project in Morocco. “It’s not just a project, it’s an ambitious project, a growth project. We are a family business, and we have a clear idea of what businesses should be: they should grow. We are here to establish a solid project, with our feet on the ground but our heads in the stars,” he explained. Ambition and long-term vision are at the heart of Aciturri’s strategy, with a desire for continuous growth.

Aciturri, specialized in the manufacturing of engine parts and aerostructures sectors, is in a phase of technological development. Currently, the aerostructure share represents 8% of its activity, and the company aims to equalize this proportion with that of the engine sector. To achieve this objective, the turnover of the engine sector must be multiplied by five or six. “One of the strategic decisions we have made is to establish ourselves in Morocco to support this growth,” added Ortiz. The group is already present in , Spain, and Portugal, and the addition of Morocco to this strategic network reflects consistent regional expansion.

The main reason for establishing itself in Morocco is based on a shared geographic and cultural proximity with Spain, but also on a strategic vision focused on concentric development. “We believe it is more judicious to grow in concentric circles, to expand our presence gradually from our existing bases, rather than heading towards the other side of the world,” he said. . Thus, after having firmly established itself in Spain and France, Morocco becomes a new natural step in this growth model.

The president of Aciturri also spoke of the historic relations between Spain and Morocco, marked by ups and downs, but always marked by cooperation. According to him, “we share many things: history, culture, geographical space, so why not also share an economic space? “. This synergy between the two countries offers fertile ground for economic and industrial development.

In conclusion, Gines Clemente Ortiz affirmed that the expansion of Aciturri in Morocco is only the beginning of a new phase of growth for the group. The establishment in Morocco constitutes a strategic lever for increasing production capacities and strengthening the competitiveness of the company in the aeronautics industry. The choice of Morocco, as a base for this new expansion, perfectly illustrates Aciturri’s strategy aimed at exploiting nearby markets, while consolidating its positions in Europe and North Africa.

With this new production site, Aciturri reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its global presence, while supporting the industrial and economic growth of Morocco.
