GARD Only a few days left to pay your property tax

Your 2024 property tax notice is already available online, in your private space on impots.gouv.fr.

If the amount to pay is more than €300, two solutions are available to you:

  • If you have not already done so, you can subscribe to the direct debit at the due date by going to your particular space on impots.gouv.fr. This method of payment is simple and practical: your tax will be automatically deducted on October 25 and your membership will also be valid for the following years. So, you will no longer have to worry about paying your property taxes in the future: it will be automatic. Each year, you will be informed of the amount that will be deducted from your tax notice.

Please note: if you received your notice by post and it is accompanied by a direct debit membership coupon, returning the coupon to your contact center (mentioned on the document) will only be valid for the payment of your 2025 property taxes. For any questions about direct debit contracts, you can contact the General Directorate of Public Finance via the secure messaging system of your particular area or call 0 809 401 401 (free service + cost of the call) Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. (mainland time).

  • you can also pay online at impots.gouv.fr or on the “Impots.gouv” mobile application by scanning the QR code on your notice. You then benefit from 5 days of additional time, that is to say until midnight on October 20, to register your payment. The withdrawal will be made from your bank account on October 25.

Good to know: at the end of your online payment, you will be able to sign up for the deduction at the due date from your 2025 property taxes.

If you have an amount to pay less than or equal to €300, you can also pay online or opt for direct debit on the due date or use the other means of payment mentioned in the notice of your notice: check or TIP SEPA if your notice includes a payment stub, cash or bank card from a tobacconist or partner approved by the General Directorate of Public Finances.
