Too inconsistent, USAM loses at

Traveling to , USAM Nîmes , lacking rhythm and intensity, lost 29-24. Nîmes have two defeats for two victories after four matches.

Franck Maurice definitely likes to play a trick on his former team. Already beaten in the North last season, the Green Team lost again, without ever giving the impression of mastering anything in this match.

Is it the emotion of finding Quentin Dupuy with a different jersey than that of USAM? Still, spent most of the first half chasing the score. We had to wait until the 26th minute and a goal from Lou Derisbourg to see the Gard take the lead in this match, apart from the first minute of the match when the Nîmes led twice, 0-1 then 1-2. Still behind in the score, it was thanks to Wesley Pardin that USAM came back into the match and it was quite miraculously that the Whites took the lead at half-time, 11-12. We could think at that moment that the hardest part had been done. It was nothing! Because if USAM remained in front for the first ten minutes of the second half, the gap never exceeded more than two goals. And by remaining within gunshot of the northerners, they began to believe in their chances. Led by the future Nîmes recruit, Jean Loup Faustin, with 4 goals and above all 14 assists, Dunkerque moved back to the front on the scoreboard…only to be taken back. The partners of former Green Men O’Brian Nyateu made a difference in the score with always four or five goals. Too inconsistent and seeming to lack rhythm, USAM ended up losing by five goals…quite logically. The trip to the North was definitely not successful for the Nîmes, unrecognizable compared to their victory last week. We will have to show a completely different face in a little over a week against at Parnasse…
