Tuesday September 17, 2024, there was excitement on rue du Château… And for good reason, that day opened, Fripons!, a new brand in Missillac (-Atlantique) and above all, the first ready-to-wear boutique in the town.

We owe this initiative to Nathalie Le Danteca Missillac resident for seven years who starts there a 360° turnaround in your professional life.

An old dream

After 15 years of employment in the administration, Nathalie made her dream come true, but also “a real choice of life… and all the planets aligned,” she explains to the Echo of the peninsula.

It is a respectful form of sales and the combination of factors, such as the cost of living, the frenzy of textile consumption and ecological sustainability, clearly shows the relevance of the model.

A little, but everything

But be careful, the merchant does not do consignment sales.

Over the years, she has built up a stock of clothing (mostly women’s) of all trends and origins.

At Fripons!, you can find something to wear from top to bottom, from XS to 3XL, including shoes and accessories. And the prices range from two to a few dozen euros, because there are also a few brands.

People can bring me clothes provided they are clean and in good condition, I select them and I can take them back in exchange for vouchers in the store. But I don’t give money.

Promising beginnings

The opening of Fripons! seems to meet a long-standing expectation. Ideally located, the thrift store is the first store of its type in Missillac.

“My first customers and my business neighbors are adorable. This is really where I wanted to settle,” she rejoices.

Rascals! : 2bis, rue du Château, Tuesday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday until 5 p.m.
