The village of Andilly (Val-d’Oise) offers a program ofanimations to celebrate nature until October 5.

“Nature animators, artists, fauna and flora experts, photographers and shepherds come together to offer young and old alike meeting times to discover the biodiversity that surrounds us,” explains the City.

Saturday September 21, residents were mobilized to clean the streets, paths and green spaces of the village, during a World clean up day.

Saturday September 28, there is an event “Nothing is lost, everything is transformed”, which will be offered to visitors during the Fabraca Brica Dabra show.

A “funny and ecological” tale, we emphasize at the town hall, followed by a workshop around materials and objects of recovery.

A “Bidule” workshop will also be on the program.

A moment of puppet making by the company Under our tree, around the recyclingreuse and repair.

The garden of forgotten seeds will be open to the public for an outdoor conference and a workshop on sorting seeds, all led by a permaculture expert.

“The public will leave with some seeds rare varieties ready to be sown,” specifies the City.

A nature facilitator from the Faune Alfort association will offer those who wish to discover the wildlife that surrounds the town “in a fun way”.

Throughout the event, an exhibition photography will retrace the daily life of two care centers in Faune-Alfort.

It gives visibility to structures lacking financial, human and material resources and which are nevertheless essential to saving wildlife.

Finish in style

On October 5, the nature festival will end in style with the great transhumance between the towns of Andilly and Margency.

“The public will be able to admire the sheep dressed in Made In Andilly pompoms,” we explain at the town hall.

The opportunity to share a walk in the streets of the two neighboring towns and to follow the Sologne sheep dressed, this year, in pompoms colorful.

“This is a first for these colors,” adds the municipality.

All the pompoms were made by schools and the leisure centers of Andilly and Margency, the Municipal Youth Council of Andilly and the residents of the Clinique des Orchidées, with wool provided by the association La brebis perrette.

All the pompoms were hand sewn by theassociation the ziboux workshop.
