“Following the break-in which took place on the night of September 25 to 26 in the premises of the Jordanian embassy located in Neuilly-sur-Seine, the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office opened an investigation entrusted to the departmental police service judicial 92,” the Nanterre prosecutor’s office told AFP this Friday evening.

12,700 euros, a luxury watch and collector’s pistols with missing ammunition

Embassy security agents noticed signs of a break-in on Thursday, September 26 in the morning, according to the police source.

A computer containing sensitive data, a watch worth 15,000 euros, a sum of 12,700 euros, two safes containing collector’s pistols with ammunition and a set of keys to the ambassador’s home were stolen, again according to this source.

“To allow the investigations to be carried out under the necessary conditions of confidentiality, I cannot confirm any details” on the material or financial damage, indicated the prosecution.
