It was a little after 2 a.m. Wednesday September 25, 2024when the police intervened in the sector of the garein Nîmes (Gard).
On site, they quickly call four young men hooded and gloved. Two of them are 19 years old, another is 18 years old and the last is a minor, aged 16.
The reason for their arrest? They came from damage several vehicles in the basement of the station car park. They also committed several thefts.
An injured police officer
During the arrest, one of the accused rebelled and hurt one of the police officers, on the knee and elbow. He received a total incapacity for work (ITT) of 2 days. The perpetrator was taken into police custody.
“A connection with several other caravan thefts committed in another car park was made”, specifies the departmental directorate of public security (DDSP) of Gard. In total, one ten victims was counted.
The small group will soon be heard by the courts.
