It was the Japanese restaurant of Joël Robuchon, under the name of Robuchon-Dassaï. It became the Attilio, the restaurant of Attilio Marrazzo, a Neapolitan, who spent eleven years in the Robuchon group, after his years of training at the Four Seasons in Milan with Sergio Mei, and who also runs the restaurant at the Château de Noirieux, in Briollay near . At the Attilio , with his accomplice Gennaro Lodato, a native of Positano, formerly of the San Pietro, Don Alfonso and the Atelier JR, he delivers a high-level Franco-Italian score.

The place now combines a great Franco-Italian restaurant, a table d’hôte on the top floor, and a luxury grocery store. The French dishes (notably the exquisite duck foie gras from the Landes with its apricot chutney) are superb, but the pasta section (superb cacio and pepe, spaghetti aglio, olio and peperoncino with great taste and cooked al dente, with just the right amount of garlic, tortellini stuffed with guinea fowl served in a coriander broth) is downright exceptional.

We will also praise the amazing appetizers (tempura sage leaf, parmesan gougère and truffle croque), the fine tomato and basil pizza and the Château de Noirieux salad, with the condiments of a ratatouille), the rich crab meat and caviar brioche, with its trilogy of tomato tartare in jelly and stracciatella, tempura-style crab claw, without forgetting the imposing Milanese veal chop served with a well-seasoned lettuce.

The desserts (traditional zuppa inglese rediscovered, light iced vanilla raspberry vacherin and cherry sphere) have style. And on a wine list, well stocked with varied vineyards although expensive, we find some gems like this Saint-Joseph “poivre et sol” by François Villard at the height of charm. As a bonus, the house is open every day.
