Furthermore, the minister affirmed that this exceptional performance had made it possible to reach a number tourist record having visited the Morocco in the first eight months of the year, with 11.8 million visitors, 1.6 million more than in the same period in 2023.
Returning to the details of these tourist performances, the minister affirmed in her presentation that they were part of the accelerated implementation of the “Tourist roadmap 2023-2026”launched by the government in March 2023. This program has made it possible to strengthen air connections and promotional efforts, thus increasing air transport capacity by 30% compared to 2023, the minister said.
